I do not know what they used these kind of (little) jars for. Maybe to hold oil, maybe to hold spices. But does it really matter , it is just a very decorative jar. It will look lovely on your desk, holding your pens en pencils. Or maybe with a small plant in your kitchen. Or maybe you can even think of a better use for this jar.
Funny thing is that it has a ring on only one side, the other side does not. And it is not that the ring on the other side has broken off, no it has never been there. Why? I haven't the faintest.
