I think my love for horses is wel known to regulate visitors to our shop. Luckily I collect statues and figurines of horses and have been able to restrain myself when it comes to real life horses. I have been able to limit the ownership of the real beasts to only 0,5, a sweet big black Frisian mare. The backside.
But if I come across such a sweet statue of a horse as this one, I have to have it. I bought three of these. One went straight to my own home and holds the place of honour on top of my fire place. The second has to spend some time in the clinic, but this one is totally ready for its new forever home.
So if you promise to take good care of him, you can adopt him. He is from Portugal, fully dressed to attend the village fair. Made somewhere around 1960- 1970. And has worked hard his whole life and it shows. He has some cracks in places and one of its legs is a bit wobbly, but he can still stand. I would not put him to work though, he is up for a wel deserved retirement.
Dimensions: h 30 cm, w 33 cm, d 10 cm.
