Kenian stools, repainted in 2019, crafted in 1970
Just too cute, this little stool from Kenia. Hand carve with lots of attention to detail. The legs can be taken off easily but once screwed in, it is as sturdy as a rock.
Somewhere in this website you can find one in its original colour. A nice brown, but I liked something else. So 1,2, 3, got myself a paintbrush and started painting. Painted one a bright orange and the other one fire engine red. And you know what is the best part? They remained the same the price.
Alternative use could be as an oversized egg holder in your kitchen. Because I think that an egg will just fit the notches made in the wood of the seating. That way you have storage for about 26 eggs. Will be useful around Easter.
