Naive oil painting of a country house, Belgium, around 1930, un signed

Oi, somebody really gave it his all, when painting this little manor somewhere in the country. And yes, he or she was a fair painter, but we will not find his or her name mentioned in one breath with van Gogh, Chagal or Rembrandt.
And it makes you wonder, me at least.
Did they own this house, was it really there and did it look as in the painting? Or did they beef it up a bit? Or was it a mere fantasy and did they paint the house they dreamed about, while waiting to strike rich and actually build it.
We will never know.
Oilpainting, around 1930. Nice colours and with a heavy layer of varnish. Some scratches in the paint. Painting is not framed, the black frame you see in the photo I just hung around it, because I liked it.
For the moment this painting is in our storage. If you want to see it in real life, give us a call before you come and we will make sure it is ready and waiting for you when you come in.
