You can not help but like them, these monkey's that can do no evil. This set was brought to the Netherlands by the previous owner from a country in Asia, exact country unknown. But is is a tourist souvenir.
But a high quality souvenir. They are soldi brass and were once even silver plated if my eyes do not deceive me. But a industrious Domestic Goddess managed to polish all the traces of the silver plate away. Except for on their little bottoms, where you can see some silver shining, if you look carefully. But they do have a lovely patina now.
Price is for the set and they are only sold as a set.
