Large Statue of Liberty, papier maché, 1980
She is having a tough time, this lady. Since the land she works for and stands symbol for is currently going through a democratic recession (Which is quite a change from an economic recession, but maybe even worse) But she is still standing strong, a bit battered, some scarring and some tears, but she keeps up the good work.
This is an old window display, from the eighties. She comes from Belgium but I really have no idea which company she worked for or which shop window she frequented. I just had to have her for my shop. And I hope you will find a nice place for her in you home.
Dimensions: h 132 cm, b 40 cm, d 32 cm.
