Antique brass curch candleholder, French, 1920 - 1930
It is a bit of a bender, this candleholder from a church in France. But they do bend the rules regularly in church, don't they. And that is to put it mildly. So for me, there is no reason what so ever for it to return to church so he can resume his duty.
It could be that I saved it form a live of misery and trauma. And just look at it, it looks really ravishing. It bronze, with grape leaves, 5 nice things (cups?) to hold the candles. And look at its foot. Just so very very pretty.
It is from France and is antique now, since it was made around 1920 -1930.
Dimensions: highest point 40 cm, lowest point 24 cm, b 38 cm, d 17 cm.
