Painting of a young bull, oil and acrylic paint on hard board, Spain, 2021
Those who follow me and my shop for a bit longer know that I love to go on treasure hunts in Spain. And on one of those hunts in 2015 I met the fine arts painter. He made lovely little paintings of bird, flowers and animals. I bought some and brought them back with me to my shop. And that was the start. Every year I went back and bought a couple of his paintings. And sold them on, with great success in my shop.
But this past summer everything took a turn for the better. He gave me his name and number and every since, I don't go once a year, but every time I am in Spain (once every six weeks more or less). And he is painting the blisters on his brushes, so I can take his paintings with me to Holland.
Among those, this cutie of a young bull and his shadow. The background painted in acrylic paint, the bull in oil paint. Signed right hand corner, Amparo.
Dimensions: will follow any time soon.
