Vintage garden statue of a lion, cement, 1950-1960
Oooooh, this poor sad boy, he is feeling sooo lonely. All by himself in my little store, without his former buddy. Because he just to have a companion but a couple off years ago they were brutishly separated (Yes, by me, sometimes I really detest myself, but can not be reversed unfortunately). And ever since he has been all on his own. First he was allowed to live in my kitchen ( I just liked it, a lion in my kitchen but I bought a new bin and now he no longer fits in the place he used to stand. Sometimes practical measures (like buying a new bin) have unexpected consequences ) So he move to the shop.
And he is very very sad.
So, let's help him out of his misery (noooo, we are not going to kill him, he was never alive in the first place), take him with you. Although, given his weight it is probably best if I bring him. Just let me know where he had to go. Because he really really wants to move. The poor boy.
He is looking rather good I must say. A very fine grain cement, lovely patine and holding a shield in his paws. Rather a cool guy, I think.
Dimensions: h 59 cm, w 19 cm, d 19 cm. (foot)
