Poor man's silver is what they used to call these kind of decorative objects in the Netherlands. Like in this case, a pair of glass candlesticks were a very very very tiny layer of silver on the inside. And in the dark, with the candles lit, it looked just like the real thing.

But handle with care if you buy them. Do not let the candle burn completely down, since the candle holder itself is not fire proof. And never ever put them in the dishwasher of give them a good wash. You will wash off the silver lining.

That said, just look at this lovely pair. Price is for the pair and they will only be sold as a pair.

Dimensions: h 25 cm, diameter foot 11 cm.
