When this schoolposter was printed I was still attending elementary school. But we did not have this kind of bright school paintings. Maybe because of the Calvinistic nature of my school.
Or maybe the teachers deemed it unnecessary since our school was right in the middle of a polder landscape. If you look to your left, you could see the pastures, ditches and farms. Polder landscape in optima forma.
So we had to do with posters of a suffering Jesus of preaching apostles. But I would rather have had this one. It is very very bright, the picture itself is very nice, with this typical Dutch polder land scape. Holland at it's best.
