Shell painting in showcase, eighties

Who even thought about creating this box? To what purpose? What to do with it? 

Well to start it off, you do not have to do anything with it. And if this box does not bring a little smile to your face, you should not read on and stop looking at the pictures.

But I really really liked it, because this box with shell painting is really something else. Who makes something like this. Who goes through all this trouble? Making a painting of two parrots with sea shells, adding electricity and little lights to it and to top it all of, build a nice box around it? 

I couldn't tell you. But he or she created something special, with great great care. I think there is only one of its kind in the whole wide world. So if you are looking for something really special, take this one.
