Old workbench from a ship, iron base with stunning old top, Dutch, around 1950
| Availability: | In stock |
This is an old workbench/ table from a decommissioned vessel. An old vessel, that was put to rest and where the interiors was disassembled at a shipyard in the Netherlands, Dordrecht to be more precise.
By looking at the top you can see that is has been used for some heavy duty jobs during its lifetime. Both ends of the top had become splintered, so I took the decision to saw them off. So the ends are a bit neater then the rest of the top.
The base is from iron and if you look closely, you can see that there are small round holes in the feet. For the screws that held the table in place.
It is a perfect table to work at, both for DIY projects or desk jobs. It is higher than a regular table, which means that you can work at it standing. And if you find a bit higher chair, it is a lovely table to sit at.
You can pick it up in the ware house or I can have it shipped to where ever you want it delivered, both home and abroad. Just let me know and I will look into the shipment fee.
Just take note, the first photo you see is digitally styled and serves as an impression of the atmosphere. The product it self is delivered exactly as described and shown.
