Painting of five pigeons on the ground

By my favourite painter, from Spain. Painted on my request.

This painting of five round bellied pigeons. One standing on guard, quite alert. The other four just parading about, chest out.    It makes me smile  little. But I do love birds (and horses) 

Painted on hard board, the back ground in acrylic paint, theb birds in oil paint 

Lovely subdued colours. 

Dimensions: height 20 cm, width 28  cm, hardboard 3 mm thick.
