Just stunning. Never before had I such a piece in store. But what is it? A piece of panneling? Or a piece of a mirror frame? I am not quite sure. I think the last option. It was meant to be draped over something that made the gilded bows and ribbons stand out.
The gilding has been restored and that is why it is shining and sparkling again. The rectangular part and the decorations on it are wood. The bows and ribbons are plaster. So if you want to buy it, I think it is best to not have it shipped but come and pick it up in the store of have it delivered for a small but reasonable fee at your place.
