Silver plated Campana model planter, plated iron, no watering hole, around 1980

You either love it, or you absolutely don’t — perhaps even finding it just a touch on the gaudy side. I don’t mind either way. I simply thought it was something a little different for a change.
It is a silver-coloured, or possibly silver-plated, plant pot in the Campana style. Highly decorative, and almost luminous in its presence.
There is no drainage hole, so it can happily sit on your table with a plant or a little bouquet. Of course, you could place it outside as well, but do keep in mind that if it rains, the water won’t drain away. You have been warned.
Dimensions: height 23 cm, outer top diameter 20 cm, planting hole diameter 10 cm, base 9 x 9 cm.
