Vintage plantstand with newer zinc tub, iron feet, France, around 1930
Availability: | In stock |
Cute little planter of plant stand. It probably held an old water jug or something in a previous live. But the last owner did some handy work. A little zinc tub was found that fitted seamlessly on the stand. How cool is that? And what a coincidence to find a little tub that fits like a glove. Or maybe the little tub was made to measure, could also be.
The legs of the stand have just the right amount of rust and patina. And there are some watering holes drilled in the zinc tub, so it is, without a lining, not very suitable for indoor use. And no, you can not remove the zinc tub, without an outrageous amount of violence. They are joint at the ribs forever and a bit.
But long story short, a cute little thing.
