Old but not yet antique cast iron garden bench. With lovely decorative detailing, like the medallion in the back, the birds in the armrests and the little face at the end of the armrests. So much love was put in creating this bench. And it shows.
It is very heavy and still very sturdy. Sits very well but to be honest, it would be a bit more comfortable for you bum, if you put some pillows on it. But then you will cover up those lovely decorations.
It was assembled with Phillips screws (all original). And with those the bench can be dated around 1950-1960. Because that is the time when the use of Phillips screws was taking off (and considered very beautiful and modern)
It has some rust in places, I can tip them up if you want, but for now I left it as is. Some goes for the green deposit here and there. I can wash it away for you, but I rather like it. Adds to the character.
It is too heavy to send by mail, but you can come and pick it up in the warehouse. Or I can have it shipped to your home, here or abroad. Just let me know and I will look at the best price for you
Just take note, the first photo you see is digitally styled and serves as an impression of the atmosphere. The product it self is delivered exactly as described and shown in the other photo's.
