Two sisters in a bright room, high ceilings and doors, merry coloured walls and both of them holding a book. The ladies are in the middle of their singing lesson. And the focus of the painter was clearly on the two ladies in the frame, they are painted in detail, especially their faces. The poor music teacher is a mere blob in the painting. Poor him.
