It has had a rough couple of years, this umbrella stand. It spent the past decades out side. At the back door of a country house in England. It was a sight for sore eyes and rather practical but it did not do it any good.
Especially the drip catcher at the bottom had become rusted. But now it has been given a new lease at life. Since I have scrubbed and polished like a domestic goddess. Way out of my comfort zone, I must admit.
Now it is more or less to its former glory. The dog you see looks like a Setter, but I am nog quite sure. The umbrella stand itself is shaped like a tree with branches. Very well done I think.
Dimensions: height 70 cm, drip catcher half moon shape: length 40 cm, width (at its widest, at the little feet) 19 cm. Umbrella holder rectangular: length 42 cm, wide 15 cm.
