Vintage Spanish dishes with little birds, glazed terracotta, around 1960
| Availability: | In stock |
Two small plates — or rather little dishes — from Spain.
1960s.
Featuring wonderfully amusing birds. Thankfully not the overly sweet kind — these have a slightly cheeky look about them. One green, one yellow.
I found them at a little market over there, and they simply had to come home with me. That happens sometimes.
They have spent many years hanging on a wall, as most of these Spanish plates did. They were never really meant for eating from, but rather to be admired.
That said, they can of course be used on the table. Just one thing… they are not dishwasher safe. They wouldn’t survive that. So do enjoy them, but handle with a little care.
The price is for the pair.
Dimensions: diameter 18,5 cm, height 3 cm.
