A beautiful Art Deco wardrobe — or what the English like to call a tallboy. Though in truth, it’s not all that tall. But never mind.
A lovely Art Deco piece in walnut veneer, with two doors fitted with elegant Bakelite handles and a wonderfully charming lock.
A fine 1930s example, finished in light walnut with beautifully figured, book-matched veneers.
Compact in size, yet surprisingly practical in its layout. On one side, a set of shelves with gently rounded corners. A particularly organised previous owner even added little labels to indicate what was meant to be placed on each shelf — and I rather like those sorts of details.
On the other side, hanging space with the original rail still in place, running front to back rather than side to side.
In good antique condition, though there are a few scratches to the top and a crack in the fineer on the right side door. (please see photos).
It cannot be sent by regular post, but delivery to your home can be arranged for a small and reasonable fee.
