An almost antique leather wingback armchair, full of charming details. Perfect for a man cave, a student room, or simply your sitting room — to settle into with a good book. And I can assure you, it is wonderfully comfortable.

Beautifully finished seams, with some edges trimmed with decorative studs.

It is nicely worn-in, and it shows. There are indeed signs of wear to the leather here and there.

I suspect a cat may have had a go at it at some point. That cat is most likely long gone by now, as the damage appears to be quite old. (And frankly, in my humble opinion, a cat that treats a chair like this has fully earned its place in the afterlife — there’s simply no room left for it on this earth.) Do take a close look at the photos, I’ve made sure to show the wear clearly.

The chair could be fully restored, if you wished. I have deliberately chosen not to. Firstly, I have a great fondness for wear and all that comes with it. And secondly, it would cost a small fortune — and with a bit of bad luck, all the life would be restored right out of it, and you might as well have bought a new one.

So instead, I’ve adjusted the price accordingly, leaving the choice entirely up to you. (Estimated restoration costs: between €500 and €800.)

As it stands, this chair is full of character, wonderfully comfortable, and still has many generations left in it. So… the choice is yours.

It cannot be sent by post, but can be delivered to your home for a small and reasonable fee. Or you can come and pick it up in the warehouse.
