I bought this lovely lamp from a sweet elderly lady that was down sizing. She had bought this lamp once upon a time in Portugal, for the holiday home she once had there. But not only the holiday home is gone, the large home in Holland is gone to. She moved to an apartment and some lovely treasures had to go. Among those, this lamp.

I believe it was once a piece of an old column. All kind of nice shapes are carved in it. If you use your fantasy you can find a little fish and if you look very carefully even an angel. And if you are not blessed with tons of imagination to detect these shapes, you still have a very nice gilded lamp with nice decorative carvings in abstract shapes.

You can buy it with or without shade. In the drop down menu you can make your choice.

Dimensions:

Lamp, including the shade: height 78 cm, diameter foot lamp 5 c, diameter shade 35 cm.

Lamp without shade: height lamp, including socket 60 cm, diameter foot lamp 5 cm.

Lamp shade: hand made from old African mud cloth, diameter 35 cm, height 20 cm.
