Lamp made from old woodcarving, probably once part of a cupboard, handmade, solid oak, around 1900
I had a similar lamp like this in store a year ago, but I still had one of the wooden carvings lying around and decided to turn that into a lamp as wel. It really turned out very nice. The lamp base being really cool, with all the decorations carved in it. And a nice patina. The front is very rich in decorations, the sides and back a bit less.
The lampshade you see on top, was made for this lamp base. I rather like the combination but if you do not, you are not obliged to take them both. You can order just the lamp, without the shade. Or you can order the shade, without the lamp. It is all up to you.
But, if you take them both, I'll give you a bit of a discount. And yes, they can be shipped by mail, but if you do so, you 'll receive two boxes. One with the lamp base and a second one with the shade. Because if I pack the both in the same box, there is the risk that the (heavy) lamp will dent the shape during transport.
Dimensions: will follow later today, I forgot the paper with the measurements in the shop.
