Apparently finding old wallpaper when renovating a house was already considered something special in older days. Like in this case. Old hand painted wallpaper from the 19th century, framed around 1940 in France.
And the piece of wallpaper is indeed lovely enough to frame, so I think it was a wise decision to do so. The frame is also rather old and worn in places. And that is just the way I like it. I hope you do too.
