Antique ladies chair, newly upholstered, wooden legs, UK, around 1900

Really, you will not want to get out of this chair, once you sit. So very comfortable is this little chair. It arrived as a pathetic little thing, almost beyond repair. Springs sticking out, tears in the fabric, one leg a little askew. And to be honest, I dreaded all the work involved in bringing it back to life. So I but it away in storage, where it was shouting at me every time I visited.
I left it there for about four years but a couple of months ago I got the spirit. I repaired the leg, took all the old upholstery off and brought it to a professional to upholster it again (because I can do much, but this is really beyond my capabilities).
And here you have it. Good as new. It is somewhat at the smaller side, what they used to call a 'ladies chair'. Not that it is tiny, I am not tiny at all and I love to sit in it. But if I am honest, if you are over 180 cm, you might think it a bit small (but will still sit comfortably )
Why don't you come and try it out in the warehouse, than you know if it is a right fit for you.
