This is a special little piece. From Spain, again. Where I nowadays find most of the treasures for my warehouse.
A little crown, with loads of decor. Stars, glass beads, little angels. It is all there. Not for little queens or princesses and also not suitable for the dressing-up-box of your kids. But crafted to shine on the heads of statues of saints
And what makes this little crown extra special is that is is extandable to fit the little head it was to shine on. I have not seen it before, but the pastor from the church this comes from was probably a very sensible man. One size fits all and would save money.
So every procession had it's own saint being carried around the city centre, but all the saints had the same crown. But who would notice such a detail?
