A beautiful, almost antique cloche. Silver-plated, though that is now largely hidden beneath what you could, if you’re feeling generous, call a rather lovely patina. But if we’re being honest, it has settled into more of a pewter-like tone — the result of a distinct lack of a Domestic Goddess to give it a proper polish now and then.
I cannot guarantee it will ever truly shine again if you decide to polish it. But of course, you are more than welcome to try. Though any guarantees extend no further than the corner of the street.
