Yes… even I get caught out sometimes. This one is a bit of a pretender. It is a frame, and from a distance you’d absolutely think it’s nicely old… but it’s really just playing the part. And I fell for it.
It happened because it was quietly sitting there, playing rather convincingly the part of an aged frame, amidst a large crate filled with genuinely antique frames that I was buying.
But throwing it away — I simply can’t do that. That would be a real shame and waste of resources. Not very sustainable.
So here it is, offered with full disclosure. Because the model itself is actually very nice. And if you don’t mind that it isn’t truly old, you’ll still end up with a rather charming little frame.
Dimensions: height 36 cm (approx. 14.2 inches), width 28 cm (approx. 11 inches), depth 5 cm (approx. 2 inches).
Opening: height 17 cm (approx. 6.7 inches), width 13 cm (approx. 5.1 inches).
