For the collectors or simply for someone wanting to brighten up their kitchen. Because these French wall plates are collected quite fanatically.
Technically it is a wall plate, but of course it doesn’t have to be one. You can simply use it. For little snacks, a sandwich, or your pasta bolognese. I probably wouldn’t put it in the dishwasher, though, as I’m not entirely convinced the decoration would survive that gracefully. And the sticker on the back, important to the collectors among us, would disappear as well.
Because this plate is marked on the back. It still carries its original retailer’s sticker too: Geo Martel. And there are also two little holes at the back for a hanging wire. Quite a busy plate, really… once you turn it around.
Dimensions: height 4 cm (approx. 1.6 inches), diameter 27 cm (approx. 10.6 inches).
