What on earth are you supposed to do with this????
Well… just put it somewhere nice.

I’ll admit, unless you work in theatre or enjoy putting on little plays between the sliding doors, you don’t actually need this.

But if you have even a bit of imagination, you’ll simply place it somewhere. In a corner of your room or in an umbrella stand. It’s something different for a change. It is a real conversation piece.

And if you’re being clever about it, you might as well take its brothers; the “standard” and the “axe”, which you’ll find elsewhere in the webshop.

I’ll also admit straight away that these attributes are not exactly of a pacifist nature. I believe they were made for the opera Lohengrin by Wagner. How I know?  Easy, it is written in rather bold letters on the stick.

Lohengrin, the Opera about knights, loyalty and courage. All rather important themes in the run-up to WWII, also in Italy. After that, things became a little… well… rather uncomfortable when it came to anything related to Wagner. But now it’s acceptable again. Isn’t it?

I bought them from an Italian lady who had owned them for many years. That’s also how I know they came from a theatre in Milan.
(And no, I don’t think La Scala — she would definitely have told me that, she was rather long-winded.)

So now you know everything.

Oh no, not quite everything — one more thing.

Because of its length, it can be shipped, but not at the standard small parcel rate. That’s why the shipping costs are a bit higher than you might expect for something this light. In this case, it’s not about the weight, but the length.

Now you really do know everything.

Dimensions: to follow — I forgot to measure.
